Antique Pine Trunk / Chest / Blanket Box

  

Welcome to the sale of this lovely old trunk. This handmade Victorian trunk is made of dovetail jointed pine boards with a metal handle to each end and its original hinges.

The wood has taken on a rich warm patina and is free of wood worm. Ideal for useful storage in most rooms, its proportions would lend it well to being used as a coffee table. In good condition commensurate with its age and use. There are some old repairs / areas of damage to the lid lip but nothing major.
